Who We Are:
- Jim and Cheryl Ward founded Lazy JWC Ranch. Their original intentions were to enjoy horses and the western industry along with their children Kody and Loralee.
- Kody is a multiple time USTPA, RSNC, and AQHYA World Champion. He is one of the top up and coming open riders in the sports of Team Penning and Ranch Sorting. Along with competing Kody enjoys giving lessons, buying, training, and selling horses. He prides himself on introducing riders to Team Penning and Ranch Sorting and seeing them progress.
- Loralee is the reigning CSHSRA Girls Cutting State Champion, Reined WorkingCowhorse Champion, and Reserve Champion All-Around Cowgirl. Loralee thrives working with young barrel horses, and is starting to take in limited outside horses.
Facilities
While we are always expanding and improving on our facilities currently we offer:
- 6 12x12 insulated stalls with outside paddocks attached
- 5 16x14 climate controlled stalls with outside paddocks attached
- 7 outside paddocks attached to a lean-to
- 2 600 sq. ft. paddocks with shelter
- 125x250 outdoor arena
- Outdoor arena fitted with roping chutes
- 60x144 insulated indoor arena
